I have never been unflinching unbearable to try those snacks apples and I don’t think my teeth could handle it to be fair. I bet I’m not the only one that feels that way!
Did you know that snacks apples were made as Christmastime storefront decorations by a snacks maker to highlight the snacks and not the apple? Customers who stopped by his store wanted to try the whole thing (Food&Wine)! Much like this happy turn of events, Adam came up with an idea of his own.
He suggested that we create our own snacks world version and shoot, why not throw in a caramel world redo too? I didn’t see where this was going at first but when I attempted to make his idea come to life, I had no idea it could be this easy! When you try this, you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it surpassing too!
A Lot easier than it looks and there’s options

To make your own salted caramel, we suggest using Sally’s Baking Addiction recipe and subtracting 1 tsp of vanilla pericope when you add in the heavy cream. This will add an spare 20 minutes to the recipe time.
- Start by heating the world cider and a cinnamon stick in a medium saucepan on a low setting (we just want to heat not boil). Have this running while we prep the snacks caps.
- Gather the ingredients and equipment for the snacks caps. Have the mold and red supplies dye at the ready considering once we take the mixture off the heat, the snacks will set in pretty fast.
- Add the sugar, corn syrup, and water to a separate medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir with a wooden spoon. Bring to a swash and let it melt until it reaches 300℉. When it does, remove from heat and thoughtfully add in the red supplies dye a few drops at a time until it’s the desired red color. Be shielding not to get splashed as you add it!
- Take the mixture and spoon it into the silicone snacks mold just unbearable to imbricate the marrow of each mold. Do not fill all of the way! We want it thin unbearable to one-liner with a spoon eventually. Ours was just under half of the depth of each mold.
- Allow the snacks to harden in the mold (about 5-10 minutes). While that is hardening, you can set up the 6 glasses (each 4 oz). Spoon well-nigh 1 TBSP of salted caramel sauce into each one. Distribute the world cider into each cup without that.
- Gently remove the snacks caps from the mold and place them on top of each cup. Now here comes the fun part! Have family, friends and loved ones take a spoon and one-liner the snacks caps into the cup. Stir the contents and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
